The planning commission approved a preliminary plat by Lewis Cass Beasley III to subdivide nearly 10 acres at 1275 Highway 141 North into seven lots. The applicant’s representative, Jim, said prior staff comments had been addressed; staff confirmed corrections (shaded flood-zone delineation and corrected line calls) and recommended approval.
Rosalie noted that the plat met the 5:1 depth-to-frontage ratio on the proposed lots and that the applicant would need an additional fire hydrant at the north end to serve lots 4–7; the record shows staff and the applicant discussed that requirement and remedial steps. Amanda Harrington confirmed the three outstanding questions she had were answered and recommended approval.
The commission voted unanimously to approve the preliminary plat.
