Lincoln Hill High School class of 2025 holds graduation ceremony

Lincoln Hill High School held a commencement ceremony in which student speakers, staff and community members recognized the accomplishments of the class of 2025. Student speakers included Kamri Nicole Mahan and Willow Newton, who reflected on resilience, pandemic-era challenges and the importance of community support. Principal Todd Klunt thanked the Lincoln Collective Booster Club and staff, announced a senior trip to the Museum of Pop Culture, and introduced a sequence of student recognitions across academic, remote-learning and vocational pathways. Teachers and staff delivered tributes to graduates such as Asher Sutton, Luke Hoffman, and Paul Vieira, noting athletic honors, creative projects and academic achievements. Cindy Ray performed for graduates, and school leaders invited the Stanwood-Camano School District board president and superintendent to formally present that the graduating class had met district requirements. The principal then pronounced the class officially graduated and led the tassel turn. The ceremony focused on student celebration and recognition; it is a school event and not suitable for civic/government reporting.
