The clerk recorded Chairman Espinal as absent; Vice Chairwoman Peterson present; Councilwoman Mary Kay Harris absent; and Councilman Vargas and Councilor Royes present. "You have a quorum," the clerk said after tallying three present and two absent.
The chair asked, "May I have a motion to continue this public hearing to the date specific of Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 5:30 p.m.?" Councilman Vargas moved the continuance; Councilor Royes seconded. Members approved the motion by voice vote; the chair declared, "The ayes have it." The clerk had previously confirmed a quorum, and the motion carried with the members present voting in the affirmative and two members absent.
Shortly afterward the chair moved to adjourn. The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote; the committee adjourned the meeting.
The continued public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
