"It takes three commissioners to have an official meeting," the commissioner said, adding, "Right now there are only two commissioners here, so we can't have a meeting." The commissioner said they would wait five minutes to see if a third member arrived and noted that the absence was in part due to spring break.
A staff member asked whether they should wait the five minutes while another participant said someone was expected to make an announcement. After the brief pause, the commissioner said the scheduled meeting would not happen and that the group would return for a regular 6:00 p.m. meeting.
No motions were made and no votes were held. The commissioner described the session as canceled for the scheduled time and directed attendees to the later meeting time for any business.
