Calexico Unified reconvened into open session and announced there were no actions taken during its closed session, then approved a motion to adjourn.
"Reconvening into open session," the presiding Chair said, and when asked for announcements of actions taken in closed session the Chair stated plainly, "There were none." The Chair then said, "We will move for adjournment. Do I have a motion?"
"A motion," Avigna responded, and the Chair identified the mover as "Mr. Avigna." The Chair added, "I'll second that motion." After calling for the vote — "All those in favor, please signify by saying aye" — members vocalized "Aye," and the Chair announced, "Motion carries," giving a final tally of "4, 0."
The meeting concluded with the Chair thanking attendees and the body adjourned.
