The Tracy Homeless Advisory Committee on Feb. 12 approved its Oct. 16, 2025 meeting minutes and appointed Councilmember Bedoya as chair for the remainder of the calendar year.
The meeting was called to order by the moderator at 7:00 p.m., followed by roll call. A committee member moved to approve the consent calendar (the Oct. 16 minutes); the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
Brian McDonald, Parks, Recreation and Community Services director, summarized the annual process for selecting a chair and recommended choosing a chair for the remainder of the year. Committee members discussed a proposal that the advisory committee could be dissolved July 1; McDonald said an action had not been taken and characterized the item as a proposal. After discussion the committee moved and approved a motion to appoint Councilmember Bedoya as chair.
Committee members then moved on to grant items and site updates. Before adjourning, members thanked staff for continued support of the committee's work; a motion to adjourn was made and approved and the meeting concluded at approximately 7:13 p.m.
