Sheridan County School District #3 appoints two trustees and elects board officers

The Sheridan County School District #3 Board of Trustees appointed two residents to fill open trustee seats and reorganized board officers during its meeting.
Sam Olson was appointed to an open board seat and sworn in. The board moved and seconded the appointment and approved it by voice vote; Olson repeated the oath of office. Shortly afterward the board approved Ernie Miller to another open trustee position and administered the oath to Miller as well.
The new trustees joined a full board for officer designations. Kelly Little was nominated and confirmed as board chair. The board used a show-of-hands vote to select a vice-chair and elected Sam Olson as treasurer. Trustees also moved to appoint Gina Hackett as the district’s representative to the Clear Creek Recreation District board.
