Berkeley County approves CentralSquare and EAM software renewals totaling $246,934.94

County committees and the special County Council meeting approved renewals for two enterprise software contracts on April 27.
The Administrative Services Committee recommended renewal of the CentralSquare enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, described in committee as the county’s HR and finance package, and the Berkeley County Water & Sanitation enterprise asset management (EAM) support contract. The CentralSquare renewal was recorded at $143,145.59; the Water & Sanitation EAM support renewal was recorded at $103,789.35.
Council accepted the committee recommendations in the special council session that followed and voted to approve the contracts. Committee members stressed continuity of service and noted the EAM system supports tracking and recording of work orders across the county’s water and sanitation operations.
