Board approves curriculum, finance, personnel and policy items and HIB determination

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP — At its April 13 meeting the Galloway Township Board of Education approved a slate of routine agenda items by roll call, including curriculum, finance and facilities, personnel and policy matters, and an HIB (Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying) determination.
Motions to approve curriculum and instruction items 6.1–6.2 passed after a roll-call vote with affirmative responses recorded for Mrs. Chester, Mrs. Avery, Mrs. Hank, Mr. Dace, Vice President Bashera Blouse and President Gentile.
The board also approved finance and facilities items 7.2–7.18 after a committee update on Arthur Rand. Personnel items 8.1–8.6 and policy second readings 9.1–9.2 were approved by roll call in succession. During old business the board approved the HIB determination report (item 10.1) as listed and attached.
