Assistant Superintendent Johnson asked to apply for an Idaho Department of Education English Learner grant: $15,000 per year for three years (a cumulative request of $45,000) to supplement curriculum and services for English learners. Trustees voted to approve the district applying for the grant.
The board also moved to adopt the recommended World Language curriculum after staff'level review and committee vetting. Administration said the proposed materials come in under budget and fit the district's six-year curriculum adoption cycle.
