The Pascack Valley Regional High School District Board of Education opened its April 13 meeting with a student-recognition segment honoring graduating students, National Merit Scholars, science and research prize winners and student-athletes from both Pascack Hills and Pascack Valley high schools.
The chair read resolutions recognizing the 2025–26 valedictorian and salutatorian and congratulated named students including Madison Espinosa, Kathleen Glass and Nathan Young (National Merit Scholar). The board also noted district students accepted to regional choir and district athletic honors, and coaches and staff received mention for supporting student success.
Why it matters: the recognitions highlight student academic achievement and extracurricular engagement across the district as the board proceeds with routine business and budget planning.
Next steps: the board moved on to routine monthly reports and budget discussion after completing recognitions.
