The Murrieta Valley Unified School District board approved the consent calendar and several fiscal and personnel items during a largely procedural portion of the meeting.
Trustees approved revised job descriptions for multiple classified and coordinator roles and adopted the personnel report. The board adopted Resolution No. 2425‑25 regarding non‑reemployment of certificated employees; that motion carried on the roll call as recorded in meeting minutes.
The board also approved several facilities-related contracts and change orders: a change order for the Alta Murrieta solar panel replacement project; award of a roofing contract for Buchanan Elementary (approx. $407,518); playground rubber surface replacement ($130,358); and renewal of a produce contract with Gold Standard Star Foods for the 2025–26 school year.
On discipline, the board moved to expel a student under Education Code §48900 and §48915, and the motion to expel carried following a second and roll-call vote. The board recorded roll-call votes for consent and action items during the meeting.
Votes and procurement approvals will be reflected in district contract files and procurement logs; the expulsion decision will be implemented consistent with statutory notice and reentry procedures.
