• Soundbox Group pilot (F3): The board approved an agreement to pilot the Deep Dive Experience program at Carter High School and Rialto High School (Oct. 8, 2025–June 30, 2026) at a cost not to exceed $100,000; funding from the General Fund. Trustees asked staff to provide software details to the board.
• Resolution for National School Bus Safety Week (F4): The board adopted Resolution No. 252616 designating Oct. 20–24, 2025, as National School Bus Safety Week; trustees approved staff edits to the resolution’s final paragraphs before adoption.
• Administrative hearings and expulsions (F6): The board approved several individual stipulated expulsion cases as presented in the packet; each case was considered by individual roll call votes.
• Closed‑session actions: The board reported it reopened an investigation related to an employee complaint (#2576715) and directed the superintendent to serve appropriate notices; the board also approved the administrative appointment of Ramona Rodriguez as principal of the adult school (unanimous roll call).
Financial notes and funding sources
Contract costs were approved from a mix of General Fund and Fund 40 (special reserves).
