Patch rock work and dust-control spraying are ongoing.
For pavement projects, Miller provided an estimated cost of $2.6 million for a concrete overlay on T66 (210th Street north to 155th Street). He said adding additional safety features would raise that estimate to $3.8 million. Miller also proposed a T64 project (Shadow Avenue east and north to the county line) estimated at $2.1 million, or $3.2 million with enhanced safety features. He noted the availability of safety grants of up to $500,000 per project.
Miller presented Denco quotes for maintenance work: $78,857.16 for PCC crack filling and $152,247.30 for HMA crack filling, for a total of $231,104.46. Supervisors Campbell and Rottinghaus moved to approve the Denco quotes; the motion carried 3-0.
The board also approved bids and payments for drainage-related work: acceptance of Legge Farms and Drainage’s bid to spray Drainage Ditch #3 for $2,243.19, and payment approvals for repair invoices on Drainage District No. 9 Lateral #19 to Downing Excavating ($2,299.52) and Zimmerman Excavating Inc. ($3,996.75).
