The Westwood Free Public Library Board accepted the treasurer’s report and approved the current bills list during its Jan. 27 meeting. Treasurer Mike Violano presented the combined total across the checking account, cash management fund and capital account as $320,235.26. A motion to accept the treasurer’s report was made and carried; the bills list (7705–7727) was reviewed and approved.
Building Committee members reported that the architect’s contract will be signed by President Suzanne Gorham and Director Catherine Dileo. The architect anticipates an 8–10 week timeline to complete the survey project and deliver findings that will inform the library’s capital plan. The board directed the Budget Committee to meet to update the budget and provide CD the opportunity to review capital-account recommendations; recommended changes are to be presented at the next meeting.
Board members also discussed inviting municipal stakeholders to review the building with the Building and Grounds Committee; Treasurer Mike Violano suggested invitations to Durene Auyer, Borough Liaison Anthony Greco and Mayor Arroyo.
