County approves Crane Creek Bridge payment and routine ambulance-district finance items
Summary
At its May 18 meeting Washington County approved a $2,227.00 demand warrant to the BLM for Crane Creek Bridge and, while convened as the Weiser Ambulance District, approved payroll and expense orders, an e-payment authorization, and an audit engagement for 2026–2028.
Washington County commissioners approved several routine finance and administrative items during the May 18 meeting, including a payment to the Bureau of Land Management for Crane Creek Bridge and multiple Ambulance District financial approvals.
Commissioner Jim Harberd moved, seconded by Gordon Wilkerson, to approve a demand warrant payable to the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management in the amount of $2,227.00 for the Crane Creek Bridge; the motion carried. Later, and while acting as the Weiser Ambulance District board, members approved Order No. 26-31 for payroll expenses ($22,763.51) and Order No. 26-32 for general expenses ($11,976.30).
The Board also authorized an ACH e-payment agreement with Columbia Bank for electronic payments and approved an Audit Engagement Letter with Quest CPAs for fiscal years 2026–2028. In separate action, the Board approved a credit-card application for Building Inspector Billy Russell to assist with licensing and certification expenses.
