At its recent meeting the Village of North Syracuse Board of Trustees approved several routine items and appointments in a series of voice votes.
The board approved the minutes of 02/12/2026; approved General Fund Abstract No. 19 for $227,599.38 (vouchers 1196–1274), which includes a payment of $106,183.25 to CHA for engineering related to a standalone firehouse; and approved a $1,500 budget transfer to cover electrical and hood-suppression inspections at the community center.
On personnel matters, trustees appointed Ken Isaac as a part-time police officer effective 02/28/2026 at $36.05 per hour and appointed Benjamin Haywood to the village planning board to fill a vacancy through 07/01/2027. The board also voted to adopt a NIKOM resolution asking the governor to provide an additional $100 million in temporary municipal assistance allocated as in prior years.
The board moved into executive session at the meeting’s close.
