After injury at Snowflake Parade, selectmen order barricades and tighter permit process

"Todd brought up putting up some barricades, which is better than personnel and cones," a selectman said; the board agreed public works will set up and remove barricades for future events.
The board also discussed a briefing and checklist developed by the youth center director to screen floats and prevent unsuitable performances. No new enforcement ordinance was enacted at the meeting; the board directed staff to develop the permit plan and report back.
