The West Hanover Township Planning Commission was told on April 23 that the township solicitor has not yet finalized the proposed data center ordinance and that no action will be taken by the commission until the solicitor submits a final draft.
During the old-business portion of the agenda the chair said the commission had the data center ordinance and a miscellaneous ordinance on the docket but would take no action that night. A presenter (Janet) told the commission, "We're still awaiting, the final draft from the township solicitor on the data center ordinance," and said the solicitor appears to be waiting for ordinances from other municipalities before completing the township's draft.
The commission did not set a timeline for when the solicitor's draft would arrive, and no public comment was offered on the item at the meeting. The docket will return to the commission when the solicitor provides the final draft for review and possible action.
