At the Nov. 19 Milton Police Advisory Committee meeting, Ray McNamara used the public forum to introduce himself and describe his reasons for attending.
McNamara said he has experience in law enforcement and that he wanted to become more acquainted with the Police Advisory Committee; he indicated he might apply for membership at a later date. The comment was part of the public forum portion of the meeting and did not prompt a formal vote or assignment.
Committee members also introduced themselves earlier in the meeting and outlined areas where the advisory group will work with Milton Police to improve community relations. No formal action was taken on McNamara’s interest during the meeting; follow-up would occur if he submits an application or otherwise signals formal intent to apply.
