Acushnet committee to withdraw MS4 stabilization funds to cover stormwater work, reviews Conoco invoice

Town Administrator Kelly told the finance committee that Article 5 covers completed MS4 stormwater work, including system mapping performed for permit compliance, and that the town expects to draw roughly $50,000 from the MS4 stabilization account to cover the work.
Kelly also said Conoco submitted a peer-review invoice of about $6,090 related to conservation-commission work tied to the MS4 process and that Conoco is preparing separate invoices for MS4 and the peer-review item. "I told Conoco that I need 2 invoices — 1 for the MS4 and 1 for this," Kelly said.
Members noted the stabilization fund is being used for its intended purpose but emphasized the need to replenish the account; Kelly said his intent is to restore at least $50,000 annually from free cash when feasible.
The committee did not vote on the article at the Sept. 4 meeting and will revisit the item with account reconciliations and support documents.
