Summary
Two complex warrant articles proposing an energy-management service contract and capital improvements for school facilities were held for additional review so board members and school staff can digest detailed proposals and vendor reports ahead of town meeting.

Chair told the board he had received multi-page vendor emails and preliminary reports related to Articles 12 and 13 (an energy-management services contract and proposed capital improvements for school buildings) and recommended deferring action until the next meeting so members could review the materials with the school business manager.
Select board members agreed: because of the cost and complexity, they want full documentation—including the vendor’s final report, timing and financing details—before the articles are placed on the warrant. Chair said he had asked staff (Sydney and Tanya) to forward all preliminary emails and that the board owed taxpayers a careful, documented review.
The select board did not block the articles but placed them on hold to allow for an informed decision at the next meeting.
