The Isanti County Board of Adjustment on May 14 tabled a request from Word of Life Ministries of Louisville Inc. and Vern Peltz to construct an entry with a canopy that would sit closer to State Highway 95 than county setback rules permit.
The application, listed for the property at 3640 County Road 6 NW in Stanchfield, was introduced at the meeting and the board voted to postpone consideration until the June 11, 2026 Board of Adjustment meeting. Kathy Skiba moved to table the item and Jim Fridstrom seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
The meeting record provided a legal description for the parcel (Pt NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 27, Township 36, Range 25, Wyanett Township) but the board did not take substantive testimony or reach a decision on the merits at this session. No conditions or directions to staff were recorded in the motion to table.
The board also approved routine minutes and adjourned at 9:17 a.m.
