Selectmen put Bow Bridge walking-bridge on hold pending funding

A selectman noted that recent sidewalk grant funding for Halls Road is a higher near-term priority because it is funded and ready to proceed. The board agreed to "bookmark" the Bow Bridge project and revisit it if redevelopment at the Hideaway Plaza or an external donor surfaces a funding path.
No funding decision or vote was taken on April 20. The board emphasized prioritizing grant-funded sidewalk work and other projects that are shovel-ready over new, costly capital projects at this time.
