Merrimack County approves fleet, refrigeration and gym-refinishing contracts

Purchasing Manager Jon Gardner presented the results of a request for proposals for fleet maintenance and recommended agreements with Above All Collision Center of Concord and Beauchine Auto Service of Franklin, noting both vendors offered favorable pricing. The board approved contracts with those two firms.
Facilities Director Dustin Muzzey reported ongoing cooling issues at the nursing home and presented proposals for a replacement walk-in cooler solicited April 25, 2026. Laconia Refrigeration submitted the lowest qualified bid at $17,190; the board approved that contract.
Corrections Superintendent Garrett Jewell and Purchasing Manager Jon Gardner requested approval for Ribeiro Property Services, LLC to refinish the Department of Corrections gym floor at a cost of $77,250, to be paid from Inmate Trust Funds previously approved by the Trustees. The board approved the contract 3–0.
