Merrimack County confirms deputy treasurer, approves staffing adjustments

Corrections Superintendent Garrett Jewell and Human Resources Director Wendy Heath presented a proposed per diem lobby receptionist position to manage professional visits and volunteer access; staff estimated an annual fiscal impact of $32,448 at Labor Grade 4 for three days per week. The board voted 3–0 to approve the position.
The board also approved educational reimbursement of $2,081.10 for Senior Program Coordinator Catrina Schaffnit following completion of an approved course and approved an FTE transfer at Gerrish Manor shifting one per-diem full-time equivalent from Medication Nurse Assistant to Resident Companion to meet operational needs. All motions carried by unanimous vote.
