Among projects identified as "in progress" are the Westwood Trust Building (the former Bank of America building at the corner of Westwood Avenue and Broadway, Lot 9, Block 907), Veteran’s Memorial Park and its bandstand and landscape, and the Pascack Movie Theater. The agenda specifically records those three sites as active designation projects for commission consideration.
The agenda also compiles a list of future candidates that the commission may evaluate, including Conrad’s Confectionery; the Diner (current site of 1950s Originals); Fireman’s Memorial Park; the Westwood Library at 49 Park Ave; Grace Episcopal Church on Kinderkamack Road; Berkeley Elementary School; the Volz Hardware building (now a real estate office); and the 19/25 Boulevard (Bogert Built Furniture/office building).
