Council approves Sunrise Meadows final plat for 28-lot subdivision

Council voted unanimously May 11 to approve resolution 18-75, accepting the Sunrise Meadows final plat for a 28-lot subdivision.
City staff member Chris Bass told the council that Sunrise Meadows LLC and JMP 2 Properties LLC requested final plat approval and that the purpose of final plat review is to verify the preliminary-plat conditions had been satisfied. “Each of the requirements the applicant has met,” Bass said, adding that streets, sidewalks, utilities and required frontage improvements have been installed and accepted by the city engineer.
Bass said performance and maintenance bonds for the infrastructure have been posted and that the final plat map includes the certificates required under Title 17. Staff recommended the council find the improvements and other requirements for final-plat approval have been met and to indicate approval through passage of resolution 18-75.
A council member moved and the motion to approve was seconded; the council called the vote and approved the resolution without objection. The council’s approval concludes the city’s final-plat review and authorizes recording of the final map and associated certificates as required by city code.
