Highway official warns of recurring Plankenhorn Road damage; board approves advertising fuel and mowing bids

The official told the board the church had filed a complaint and pledged a repair plan that may include routing heavy traffic to less sensitive sections of the road.
The board considered an updated agreement (a re‑up of the 284 agreement between the highway department and the board) with only the amount changed due to general repairs increasing by $15,000 in the budget. Members agreed to sign the amended paperwork and proceed with required advertising for fuel and mowing bids.
No formal procurement award was made at the meeting; the board approved motions to proceed with advertisement and to sign the updated agreement so procurement may move forward as scheduled.
