Jackson Township Council adopts two ordinances after public hearings

Ordinance 23-24 amends chapter 3-122 of the township code concerning extra-duty assignments within the Department of Public Safety. Council moved to adopt on third and final reading and the motion carried with affirmative votes from members present.
Both ordinances were introduced at the council’s May 28, 2024 meeting and proceeded to third reading as required by local procedure. The clerk announced adoption and directed that the ordinances be advertised according to law.
