Board advances student‑boundaries, facilities and Title I policies to second reading

Policy 6195 (Title I parent/family engagement) was updated to reflect a state audit and to include a definition for Title I. Policy and regulation 7040/7041/7042 (use of district facilities, Temer Field, and the Valley Forge Elementary tennis courts) had updates to rental fees, labor rates and time availability; Conestoga High School athletic complex language was added to 7041.
The committee recommended the policies for second reading and the board approved first‑reading status by voice vote (motion carried 9 to 0). The policies will be presented for final consideration at the board’s June 8 meeting.
