Tell City board extends Ivy Tech lease through the end of the year

Adam moved to approve the extension; Gerald seconded and the motion carried with voices of "aye."
At the meeting a board member noted that the current arrangement involves a nominal payment ("They pay a dollar," a board member said), while the city had paid for building maintenance; the extension is intended to allow Ivy Tech to prioritize finances and for city staff to draft documents for any future conveyance or release.
The extension is an administrative move to preserve the relationship while more detailed terms are negotiated; staff will continue to work with Ivy Tech and report progress to the board.
