Supervisor read a proclamation noting Reynolds’ Vietnam service with the 125th Signal Battalion, his years as commander of the Manny Bacon Post and roles with the Disabled American Veterans, VFW and Vietnam Veterans of America. Aaron Froley, representing Congressman Lawler’s office, offered congratulations and presented a challenge coin on the congressman’s behalf.
Reynolds accepted the recognition and thanked the American Legion and town leaders for support, saying the post and fellow members made his service and community work possible. The board paused for photos following the presentation.
The recognition noted Reynolds’ volunteer service delivering Meals on Wheels in East Fishkill since 2003 and involvement with the Hopewell Depot Museum and town memorial events. The ceremony was followed by the meeting’s regular business.
