The board also acknowledged newly constructed sidewalks in Cadbury at Berkshire Phase 1 on Dowgate, Jackson and Elena drives and approved the release of the related surety (parcel 49007 10) after the county inspector certified completion. Commissioners then accepted Elena, Jackson and Dowgate drives for county maintenance and approved release of $22,490 in surety for those streets.
The actions were routine and procedural: staff said the inspector had certified the improvements and commissioners confirmed they were in agreement to sign off. All motions passed by unanimous voice votes.
Next steps: county staff will process the surety releases and record the street acceptances so the county can assume maintenance responsibility.
