On sponsorships, staff said Canyon Pipeline would be the major event sponsor, donating $8,000 to offset costs so the city does not run a deficit. Staff also thanked Waste Management and Rocky Mountain Power among other donors.
The council discussed logistics (parade lineup, stage timing, volunteers and volunteer recruitment) and staffing. Staff asked council members and residents to help recruit volunteers and committee members for year‑round activities.
