Kinnelon swears in new police officers; council honors late DPW superintendent

Council and the chief framed the promotions as the result of departmental leadership and long-term investment in training and mentoring. No formal votes were required for the oaths, which were administered during the meeting as ceremonial and organizational actions.
The borough also used the meeting to say thank you to officers, to note the community’s pride in local public-safety staff, and to recognize the role of past council members and volunteers in building the department.
