Livonia board appoints Deanne Urso as director of human resources

Urso addressed the board and accepted the post, saying she was "incredibly honored and humbled" and that the district’s people-first focus resonated with her approach. She told the board she looks forward to joining the cabinet team and supporting staff across the district.
The appointment will place Urso on the district cabinet and she is expected to begin work as director of human resources in the coming weeks as part of an internal cabinet transition.
