Livingston County presents flag and medals to nephew of WWII corporal

David Terry, representing Livingston County Veteran Services, presented a ceremonial flag and medals to John Migliore, nephew of Corporal Horatio Raymond "Ray" Migliore, who was killed Sept. 12, 1943, during combat operations in Italy. Terry recounted Migliore94s service in the 180th Infantry, 45th Division and said the family had not previously received full military honors; the county provided the medals and burial flag as part of America250 recognition activities.
The committee observed the presentation during opening remarks. The acknowledgment was recorded in the minutes as an informational item; no committee action was required.
