County signs on to updated GLOW Workforce Development bylaws as unemployment edges up to 5.1%

He provided an activity summary for March that included 497 job openings posted with the NYS Department of Labor, 241 unique office visits and ongoing enrollment in training programs.
Workforce Development announced recruitment for the summer youth employment program, a hiring fair on May 12, and a girls welding program to be offered at Ironwood Studios for 20 participants. Snyder said applications for summer employment are available online and that the deadline for youth applications included a mandatory interview date.
