Dundy County Commissioners voted on May 18 to approve a gravel agreement with Windmill Ranch, LLC at $7 per ton; the agreement does not automatically renew. Commissioner Tom Richard moved to approve the agreement and Chairman Sye Tecker seconded; the record shows Ayes: Richard and Tecker; Commissioner Keiser was absent.
The board postponed consideration of truck-leasing bids and road maintenance route scheduling to the June 1 meeting and added contract hauling bids to that agenda. The Windmill Ranch agreement was approved as presented; no amendments were recorded during the meeting.
Commissioners said they will address additional road-related contracting issues at the June 1 meeting.
