San Miguel County accepts DOLA housing planning grant to advance Housing Action Plan

San Miguel County accepted a housing planning grant awarded by the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) to support development of the county’s Housing Action Plan.
Drea Ariza, the county’s housing specialist, told commissioners the grant application was submitted with prior direction and that the award is a boilerplate unilateral agreement that will be executed with DOLA. Staff said they will return with a timeline update on June 17 and take necessary steps to execute the grant agreement.
Commissioners moved, seconded and unanimously authorized the chair to accept the DOLA grant and take all steps necessary to execute the agreement.
