William Norman addressed the Sunnyvale Planning Commission during oral communications on May 26 to ask city staff and commissioners to appeal a relocation requirement for a taco truck he said has been operating at 208 South Oaks Fair Avenue for more than five years.
"This is regarding a, taco truck, Tacos El Noah located at 208 South Oaks Fair Avenue," Norman said. "It has been there for 5 plus years, has received multiple awards from the city, and the bar at Twitberts sports bar does not offer food...and is now being asked to relocate out of the area for, again, a parking spot request. I would very much request that that be appealed."
The chair closed oral communications after hearing from in-person speakers and informed the resident that staff would follow up. No formal action or agenda item on the truck was recorded on the consent calendar or general business agenda that night.
What happens next Staff offered to provide contact information to the resident; commissioners encouraged the speaker to follow up with the appropriate city contact to pursue the matter.
