Court removes Office Park Drive from maintenance, schedules hearings and reviews other road changes

The Pulaski County Fiscal Court approved several road-maintenance changes and scheduled public hearings during its regular session.
The court voted to remove Office Park Drive from the county maintenance program after staff confirmed proper procedures were followed. A magistrate cautioned that removal from county maintenance does not permit private parties to install gates or block the road; the road remains public and any private dispute would require private counsel.
Court members assigned two magistrates to inspect Saradog Hollow Road and Shotwell Lane to determine whether those roads should be added to the county-maintenance program.
The court also voted to advertise public hearings for Mercado Drive and Haley's Way (both off Slade Branch) after confirming prior review by staff. In addition, members agreed to advertise the removal of Whitson Road, Whitson Spur and Dole Road near the Hinkle Quarry area.
All motions related to roads were approved by voice vote; staff said public hearings will follow the advertisement period and any changes to maintenance status will be finalized after public input.
