Halifax COA recommends John Lasky for appointment to the council

The Halifax Council on Aging voted unanimously on April 21 to forward John (candidate) to the selectmen for appointment to the COA board.
Chair Jean Bullard called for a vote to bring John onto the board and members responded with aye; the motion passed unanimously and the chair said John must appear before the selectmen to complete the appointment process.
"So now John has to go and be put on the Selectman's agenda," Bullard said. "When he gets on that agenda, we can go or we don't have to go—I mean, I will obviously be at that meeting."
Next steps: The COA will provide support for John at the selectmen's meeting and the director will print a talent-bank form for the candidate to submit to town records.
