At its Dec. 15 meeting, the Town of Bethany Wetlands Commission approved a slate of routine administrative items.
The commission moved and approved the minutes of the Nov. 17, 2025 regular meeting.
Commissioner Chris Sullivan moved to pay an invoice dated Dec. 4, 2025, from Crescolo Engineering in the amount of $1,252.50 for review services related to 211 Cheshire Road; Jim Nagel seconded the motion and the commission voted in the affirmative. Commissioners noted staff will pursue reimbursement from the applicant if appropriate.
The commission also approved an annual payment of $1,500 to the Southwest Conservation District, describing the district’s recurring supportive services to the town and confirming Leslie had already processed the payment.
On the 2026 meeting calendar, commissioners agreed to move the May meeting from May 18 to May 19 to avoid conflict with the annual town meeting and to move the September meeting from Sept. 21 to Sept. 22 to avoid Yom Kippur; a motion to accept those changes carried.
No controversial or disciplinary votes were recorded; the motions reported were procedural and carried without recorded opposition.
