Commission opts to continue with Krohn and Associates for redevelopment accounting

A Committee member who reviewed the proposals said sticking with Krohn made the most sense because Krohn is familiar with the commission’s records and its pricing for basic services was lower than the competitor’s.
The motion to retain Krohn and Associates was made by the Committee member and seconded by the Nonvoting member; the Chair called for a voice vote and the motion passed. Members noted that if the city later transitions other municipal accounting work to a different vendor, the commission could re‑evaluate its arrangement.
The commission did not record a roll‑call tally on the record; members said they would continue monitoring the arrangement and may reconsider if service needs change.
