The Linton Pool Board discussed planned 2026 upgrades that include installing an awning, procuring new lounge chairs, and addressing a worn pool liner.
Committee member (S7) said the city crew might install the awning and offered financial help for chairs, saying "6,000 towards the purchase of those chairs." The board ordered a sample chair to check weight and quality before committing to a larger purchase; members discussed per-unit estimates near $250 and debated quantities from 30 up to 100 depending on need and cost.
Members also discussed locker rental procedures to generate revenue, the possibility of selling fence banners to raise funds, and routine maintenance. Chair (S2) said the revitalization group is working to raise money for a new liner and that a grant writer now assists the project.
The board identified the liner replacement as its top priority for revitalization and discussed scheduling and supplies for maintenance crews that typically perform painting and patch work in late April or early May.
