County Clerk and Recorder Eric Ravinehill addressed the board on May 26 to outline logistics for the upcoming election. He said ballots will be mailed on June 8 and the county will open a 24‑hour drop box the same day. The voter service and polling center will open for early voting June 22 and will offer extended hours on Friday, June 26 (8 a.m.–4 p.m.) and Saturday, June 27 (8 a.m.–noon) to comply with state statute; election day falls on June 30.
Ravinehill said the county will partner with Florida Orange as the ballot vendor for this cycle and will continue to use the county’s voting-system vendor now rebranded from Dominion Voting Systems to Liberty Vote. He described recent election-judge training that focused on election procedures, safety protocols and voter assistance and encouraged judges to follow a "see something, say something" approach to address irregularities. Ravinehill invited commissioners’ questions; none were raised at the briefing.
The clerk’s office agreed to provide materials (plans and photos) to a reporter who requested them later in the meeting.
