Special Service District awards 243.08 acre-feet water lease to Jeffrey Parker for 2026 season

Nancy Leigh, District Clerk, presented the Special Service District's 2026 water rights lease offering for 243.08 acre-feet remaining after Bristlecone Pond use. One bid, from Jeffrey Parker, was received in the amount of $11,399. The Board adopted Resolution SSD-041 awarding the 2026 lease to Parker; the lease is temporary for the 2026 irrigation season and staff will file a change application with the Utah State Engineer as required.
The Board vote was 4-0 with Board Member Duane Nyen absent. The lease proceeds and administrative details will be managed by the District Clerk’s office under the terms of the adopted resolution.
