County Attorney to retire; mayor, EMS honor deputies and first responders

County Attorney Clyde Richert announced his upcoming retirement at the Robertson County Commission meeting on May 18 in Springfield. Mayor William A. Vogle congratulated Richert and outlined an anticipated transition process, according to the minutes.
During communications from the mayor, EMS Director Brent Dyer recognized a group of individuals for their roles in assisting a disabled patient during a residential fire. Named personnel included Sheriff’s Deputy Allison House and Corporal Chance Carlisle; 911 center staff Tim Baxter, Danielle Jones, Kailey Greer, Taylor Poole and Derek Johnson; and EMS personnel Critical Care Paramedic/FTO James Hochstetler, Battalion Chief Vicky Dorris and Battalion Chief Robbie Hudson. Lieutenant Cheyenne Phillips was also recognized though the minutes note she was not present.
Mayor Vogle and Director Dyer commended the group for their service and professionalism. The minutes record the recognitions as formal communications to the commission; no formal action was required.
